I bought Ara Fell a few months ago on Steam. I recently discovered, that there is also a DRM free version here on Itch.io. Since I love this game and I love "not to be chained to Steam", I bought Ara Fell here on Itch.io, too.
Everything seems to work and I also can move my savegames from the Steam version to the Itch.io version.
I seems, that I can't use the D-Pad on my Xbox 360 Controler (USB) when playing the Itch.io version of Ara Fell. This is very sad, since using the joystick does not work very well.
I read some comments on Steam about this issue and was happy to hear, you are working on this issue. Playing the Steam version of Ara Fell, the D-Pad works fine on my controller. So my question:
Does the Itch.io version need an update to the latest version of Ara Fell?
The ZIP file here on Itch.io is dated to 28.08.2016. My Windows lists 1.1.1.0 as file version for RPG_RT.exe.
On Steam there is news entry at 08.10.2017 telling about an Update fixing the D-Pad controller issue. My Windows lists 1.1.2.1 as file version for the Steam RPG_RT.exe.
